With almost four months to go until the Erasmus+ Sport-funded MAGIC 2025 (Mixed Ability Games, Inclusion and Coproduction) event kicks off in Pamplona, the official logo has been unveiled in the Navarre capital. To this end, IMAS was supported by a group of students from the Centro Integrado Cuatrovientos, who took on the challenge of creating the bespoke visual identity, supervised by their teachers Iban Zabaltza and Kike Ariskuren.

About their participation in this process, Kike said: “We got involved because both the activity, which is highly relevant to marketing, visual communication and digital tools, as well as the type of organisation that IMAS is, advocating for sport participation, inclusion and the implementation of the UN SDGs, align well with our aims and ethos. This motivated us to accept this collaboration, including a group of local students, who have now had the opportunity to use their skills to leave a lasting legacy!”

Claudia Alegría (19), a student of the Higher Cycle of Sales and Commercial Space Management, said that she got involved “after listening to an IMAS presentation, which I found quite inspiring to the point I decided to give it a go, as it allowed me to show my creative side.” Claudia’s logo proposal was finally selected to identify the Erasmus+ Sport-funded MAGIC programme.

This collaboration highlights the importance of coproduction and community engagement in delivering all aspects related to MAGIC 2025, and this resonates with the mission, values and commitment of the Center. The involvement of a class with strong links and commitment to serving the Navarre community offered a great opportunity to harness the creativity and the local knowledge of future champions, giving real meaning to UN Sustainable Development Goals 16 (Strong Institutions) and 17 (Partnerships), which are pillars of the educational approach of the Centre.

The MAGIC 2025 logo will feature predominantly in all communications and resources for the IMART and MAGIC week, June 22-27.
